Directions
From Indiana or eastern Louisville- Take I-65 South to Exit 136C, Jefferson Street Downtown. Stay in the center lane and bend right.
- Go through first traffic light (Brook Street) to second light (First Street).
- Turn left on First Street, stay in left lane.
- Turn left at next block (Liberty Street).
- Continue three blocks (past Brook and Floyd Streets and I-65N entrance ramp).
- Turn right on Preston Street. Merge over into left-hand lane.
- Go 2 blocks, past Mohammad Ali Blvd, and turn left on Chestnut street
- Go 1 block and turn left on Jackson street
- Visitor's parking garage is 1/2 block on left.
- Turn left into visitor’s parking lot. Take ticket to be stamped.
From Airport or Belknap Campus- Take I-64 North to exit 136A, Broadway/Chestnut St.
- Stay straight to go onto S Brook St.
- Continue 5 blocks and take a right onto Liberty Street
- Continue 2 blocks (past Floyd Streets and I-65N entrance ramp).
- Turn right on Preston Street. Merge over into left-hand lane.
- Go 2 blocks, past Mohammad Ali Blvd, and turn left on Chestnut street
- Go 1 block and turn left on Jackson street
- Visitor's parking garage is 1/2 block on left.
- Turn left into visitor’s parking lot. Take ticket to be stamped.
Directions from visitor's lot to HSC Research Office- Walk out of parking lot to the West (towards the circular drive in the direction you came from)
- Walk down the driveway and cross Preston street.
- Walk past Baxter I research building (570 Preston Street address on outside) and into small parking lot between buildings.
- Go right around Abell Administrative building and into 2nd-door in large cream-colored brick building on your right (Schools of Nursing, School of Public health). (Door has access codes. Call the research office at 852-7794 for entry.)
- Take stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor.
- Walk all the way down the hallways, turning right each time.
- HSC Research Office is the last room on the right, Room 2028.
