Directions to the Floyd St. Parking Garage Visitors Lot

The Workshop on Saturday, March 24 will be held in the Belknap Research Building (number 4 on the on the campus maps) University of Louisville Belknap Campus. The nearest visitor parking is in the Floyd St. Parking Lot but permit parking is not enforced on Saturdays so the "red" lots across the street will also be available. Belknap Campus map

The exits for the University of Louisville are directly off of I-65 North or South.

  1. If coming from I-265 (Gene Snyder) or I-264 (Watterson Expressway), you will want to head North on I-65.

  2. If coming from I-71 South or I-64 East or West, you will want to head south on I-65.

Directions if Traveling I-65 South:

  1. Take I-65 South (Toward Nashville), to the Arthur Street exit (Exit 134). If you reach the Fairgrounds / Watterson Expressway exits, you have gone too far.

  2. Continue to the first stop sign, Arthur street and Brandeis Avenue.

  3. Turn right onto Brandeis Avenue / Cardinal Boulevard.

  4. Turn left onto Floyd Street.

  5. The first building on your right is the Student Activities Center.

  6. Turn right at the first entrance to the Student Activities Center.

  7. This will be a circular drive beside the three-story parking garage.

  8. Park in the visitor's lot in the garage. (Do not turn into the garage at the light.)

Directions if Traveling I-65 North:

(I-65 is accessible from I-71, I-64 and I-264)

  1. Take I-65 North (Toward Indianapolis) to the second Eastern Parkway exit (west 133B).

  2. There is a stop sign at the end of the exit ramp.

  3. Veer right, following the curve around to the traffic light at Eastern Parkway. (Denny's is on the corner).

  4. Turn right.

  5. Continue on Eastern Parkway until it dead-ends at Third Street.

  6. Turn Right.

  7. Continue on Third Street to the third traffic light at Cardinal Boulevard.

  8. Turn right.

  9. Continue on Cardinal Boulevard to the second traffic light.

  10. Turn right onto Floyd Street.

  11. The first building on your right is the Student Activities Center.

  12. Turn right at the first entrance to the Student Activities Center.

  13. This will be a circular drive beside the three-story parking garage.

  14. Park in the visitor's lot in the garage. (Do not turn into the garage at the light).
