The University Committee for Animal Welfare (UCAW) is pleased to present the Animal Welfare and 3Rs Awards for the research community at UofL.
UCAW Animal Welfare Award
The UCAW Animal Welfare Award recognizes research laboratories, centers, cores and personnel for demonstration of an exemplary collaborative working relationship with the veterinary team and UCAW to continually improve and promote the best animal welfare and science.
UCAW 3Rs Award
The UCAW 3Rs Award recognizes research laboratories, centers, cores and institutes for demonstration of an active commitment to implementations of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement) in animal-based research
