Cindi Logsdon
M. Cynthia “Cindi” Logsdon is Associate Vice President for Research and Innovation at the University of Louisville, leading the university’s research enterprise by advancing strategy, supporting faculty excellence across disciplines and strengthening compliance.
Since 2000, she's developed key components of the university’s research ecosystem to enhance training, mentorship and career development. Overseeing major faculty excellence initiatives, including the Ascending Star Fellows program and the Distinguished University Scholar program, which support faculty retention and recognition. She also advances institutional priorities in research strategy, open scholarship and research systems.
Logsdon is an accomplished researcher, educator, and research leader whose work has had sustained national and international impact on maternal mental health. Over more than three decades, she has led research focused on developing and translating innovative interventions to improve outcomes for pregnant and postpartum individuals. Her work has informed clinical practice, contributed to national health priorities and supported the education of healthcare providers in identifying and treating maternal mental health condition.
Ashley Worner
Ashlea Worner serves as Research Program Manager, overseeing university-wide research academic programs with a primary focus on Postdoctoral Services.
In this role, she manages postdoctoral appointments, supports onboarding and career development and ensures compliance with institutional policies. In addition to her work with postdoctoral services, Ashlea supports faculty excellence programs and strategic research initiatives, contributing to research communications, data analysis and institutional reporting.
Ashlea brings extensive experience in higher education and human resources to her role and is committed to improving processes, strengthening collaboration, and advancing initiatives that support research success across the university.
