Research Integrity
Sidebar
The UofL Office of Research Integrity is responsible for the education and training in the responsible conduct of research and scholarship (RCRS), coordinating the implementation of this effort with departments and units within the university with the objective of ensuring that the integrity of research is maintained at a high priority level in all aspects.
To conduct research at UofL, investigators need to complete the proper research compliance training. Training requirements are based upon the role you perform in the project and the nature of the research itself. You can utilize our our training guide below to determine what research compliance requirements you may have.
In addition to RCRS, the Office of Research Integrity can provide guidance on completing the annual disclosure requirement.
We can assist you with the following researcher activities:
- Access resources related to RCRS
- Find opportunities to complete research training:
- Resources for disclosing external activities
- Completing the annual attestation and disclosure form
- Disclosing Foreign Collaborations to UofL or funding agencies
- Sample disclosure statements for presentations
- Main UofL COIC website
Additional resources for maintaining research integrity:
- The Lab (produced by the Federal Office of Research Integrity)
- The Research Clinic (produced by the Federal Office of Research Integrity)
- Ethics Unwrapped (University of Texas)
- The National Center for Professional and Research Ethics (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)
