The guidance was developed in alignment with the Uniform Guidance requirements 2 CFR §200.331 to .333 –Subrecipient Monitoring and Management.
The guidance sets forth the required monitoring activities throughout the lifecycle of a sponsored program and defines the respective Roles and Responsibilities of the PI/Department, the OSPA, and the Subrecipient.
The guidance applies to all subawards issued under federal awards made to the University. Although not required by the Uniform Guidance, the University will apply this guidance, to the extent practicable, to subawards under non-federal awards. It does not apply to professional services, consultant agreements, or the procurement of goods or services from contractors.
